About Tangible Solutions...

Tangible Solutions was formed in 2006 to meet the growing needs of:
  • individuals and couples seeking assistance with their personal or household finances and budgets, and how to plan for future needs
  • professionals seeking assistance in improving the administrative aspects of their business
  • couples going through the collaborative or cooperative divorce process, or via mediation.

We help clients deal with their financial issues, and help you feel comfortable with the emotional aspects of dealing with your money and your future.

Combining the financial skills and expertise gained over 34 years serving the administrative and financial needs of organizations, and utilitzing the training as both a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst along with being a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, we serve our clients well in both areas. We recognize how difficult it may be for some people to focus on what your future will look like and how you will be able to understand your current financial situation while planning for your future. We will work with you to get through this process and find an equitable solution to your situation.

We do not provide legal or tax advice.

Tangible Solutions is a registered as a Financial Counselor with the State of Washington. Tangible Solutions will only transact business with persons living within the State of Washington. Transactions or business will not be engaged in with anyone residing outside the State of  Washington.

About Sandy Voit...

Sandy Voit, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst  and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, established Tangible Solutions, specializing in financial literacy and education, personal finances counseling, and helping people work through their anxieties and fears concerning money.

Educating and empowering you to take control of your finances, and focusing on your goals is at the core of what Sandy believes is key to your success.  Life transitions and/or major events have a tremendous impact upon your life, and Sandy can help facilitate how you can adapt to change.

Providing a holistic approach towards seeking a fair and equitable financial resolution, Sandy provides support that encourages independence and freedom for clients in transition.  By focusing on your personal goals and success, he prepares customized financial plans, develops personalized cash flow strategies, and guides you in a way that focuses on your success and makes you feel empowered in the process.

Using both his financial and counseling skills, Sandy recognizes the issues of his clients, provides you with explanations of your options and the consequences of each choice, guiding you to the resolutions that best fits your needs.  Clients appreciate how they are treated.  Sandy works with the clients’ other professionals – lawyers, accountants, counselors, child specialists, etc., and provides an appropriate financial perspective on the client’s behalf as you deal with the challenges and opportunities along your journey.

Prior to becoming a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, Sandy earned a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University at Albany (NY).  After a career in higher education administration for 27 years at five universities (including Dean of Students and Director of Financial Aid at Bastyr University), he served as executive director at a large synagogue in Seattle, as well as an organizational and small business consultant before establishing a financial counseling private practice.  He continually invests in professional continuing education to remain abreast of new developments, changes in the law, and maintains a thirst for knowledge to help others.

Currently a board member and Treasurer of King County Collaborative Law, Sandy also is a member of the Association of Divorce Financial Planners (and Washington State Chapter Coordinator) and the King County Bar Association's Collaborative Law section (and former treasurer).  Through these organizations Sandy is committed towards working with couples who prefer to negotiate rather than litigate.

Sandy is an active participant in the local area for almost three decades.  He has served on the Puget Consumer’s Coop board for 12 years, including two terms as president, as well as currently serving on several other boards.  Living in rural, unincorporated King County continues to provide Sandy and his family with abundant opportunities to enjoy nature, landscaping, hiking and quiet contemplation.
